Whats up everyone well its getting hectic here but amongst all the guest spots and conventions I was lucky enough to get the pleasure of tattooing Thomas Pendelton from the TV show "tattoo highway". I gotta tell you I expected the worse man, which though is unfair is just the truth, but to my surprise he was one of the coolest most down to earth people I have ever met. Not only was he a great client he was hilarious I had a blast tattooing him and to make it that much better I did a tattoo on him that meant a great deal to me and an even bigger deal to him. The tattoo of course was of legendary tattooist Rick Walters the man Thomas apprenticed under. Now those of you who know me know that I have a tremendous respect for my elders in the tattoo community they worked their asses off to create the industry so many of us take for granted and most of them dont get any credit for it. Were it not for them we would not have the kind of lifestyle so many of us are so blessed to have. It is for this reason that i was honored to be the artist Thomas picked to do the tattoo of Rick on him. I was also lucky enough to go with Thomas to show Rick, BABA, and Mr. Mahoney in person right after i had finished the tattoo it was a great experience and one I wont ever forget, especially since none of my peers said it sucked. So all in all it was great from beginning to end as for Thomas, he is a great guy and this industry is a better place because of the efforts of people like him who work everyday to break down barriers and show people that its art.
